Senior Developer (m/f/d) with focus on geodata and backend with Python

As part of the project, the external developer takes on the following tasks within the Data/AI Hub & Media Data Squad, mainly in the product Media Data Platform, which are usually carried out independently and independently on the basis of specifications defined by the product owner:

– conception, building, managing and maintenance of microservice architectures with Terraform, Kubernetes, Django

– integration and managing cloud ressources/infrastructure at Microsoft Azure via Terraform

– integration and maintenance of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) of applications via Gitlab

– spatial metadata processing (metadata extraction, reprojection of raster and vector data)

– spatial data processing of raster and vector datasets

– setup and maintenance of spatial databases

– building and maintenance of new spatial data procssing pipelines (raster & vector like photogrammtry, merging of raster and vector datasets)

Anforderungen/Requirements:

– strong experience in remote sensing (optical, radar…)

– experience in a agile team setup (SCRUM)

– strong experience of building REST-APIs

– experience of spatial web applications in context of spatial datasets (raster, vector, pointclouds)

– opt. building and maintenance of spatial web services

– testing experience in context of Pyhton (pytest) and JavaScript/TypeScript (Jest)
