Remote: IT – Expert AWS, Azure, WAF (m/f/d)

Implementation of WAF (Web Application firewall) Infrastructure to ensure DBS hosted Web Services can be exposed to the internet so that End Users and Partners can consume DBS digital services in a secure, controlled, and compliant way. Establishing a global WAF Deployment project organization for a cloud-related or central active monitoring, to mitigate DB productive Cloud Landing Zone Infrastructure threat scenarios immediately, in the long term and sustainably.

Tasks:

Support in the project in the development of new AWS/Azure WAF product and embedding in end2end services.

Technical support in the design process, Passive WAF Log Collection and Analysis

Design and definition of Core and Custom active WAF Rulesets.

Accompanying the pilot and transfers to the cloud operation team.

Project-related concept, implementation, and operation of the WAF (Web Application firewall) with reference to further edge systems, such as reverse proxy and load balancing systems.

Support in security topics for Ruleset Mgmt. and WAF Policies and process integration.

Must haves:

At least 5 years of network security experience, ideally with web application firewalls.

At least 3 years of cloud operation and engineering implementation experience in the WAF environment (AWS and/or MS Azure).

Common authentication methods (LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, RADIUS, …) are known.

Knowledge of operating systems Windows, Unix/Linux as well as cloud environments (Azure, AWS).

Fluent English

Knowledge Transfer will be part of this role for Design, Deploy and Operate in the management of the WAF backend systems.

Cooperation in an international environment (project and cloud operation).

Knowledge in Scrum in agile project enforcement are an advantage.
