Project Manager (w/m/d) Windows 11 Migration

We are looking for a Project Manager (f/m/d) to migrate over 25,000 clients from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

Workload: Full-time

Location: Remote

– A special challenge in this project is the planning and execution of the rollout of the Windows11 client in the complete enterprise environment of the customer. Here, intensive coordination and communication with the affected units is necessary. Among other things, the following tasks are involved:

– Coordination of the test ring for the client and the basic applications

– Coordination of the tests of the specialized procedures on Windows11 incl. finding solutions in case of failed tests

– Planning of the rollout in coordination with specialist departments

– Planning of the necessary hardware replacement depending on the rollout dates

– Implementation of the rollout and its central coordination in close coordination with the stakeholders

– Ongoing communication with stakeholders and early detection of difficulties, problems, conflicts and their resolution

– The Windows11 client will be the new Windows client platform at the customer and must be functionally distributed on all computers by May 2025. Windows11 thus replaces the previous Windows10 client. Thus, the customer continues to rely on a current client architecture, which in particular also ensures the continued support of the client and current hardware for the next few years.

Skills:

– Experience in large and complex roll-out projects.

– Experience with Windows clients

– Experience in moderation of concepts

– Confident appearance in a large and complex customer environment
