Remote: DevOps Engineer (w/m/d) Data Analytics Plattform

Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (f/m/d).

Location: completely remote

Tasks:

– Design, build and configuration of CI/CD pipelines,

– Ensuring smooth deployments across all internal stages and pipelines as well as responsibility for appropriate software deliveries,

– Containerization of modern applications (microservices),

– Standardization and automation of build, test and deployment processes, taking into account the highest quality and strict data protection requirements,

– Building a continuous integration environment and virtual network infrastructure,

– Support and advise product management and scrum team in describing infrastructure requirements and acceptance criteria.

Skills (must-have):

– Master’s degree in computer science or business information systems,

– Certificate in Apache Airflow,

– Kubernetes and Openshift (at least in one project),

– Knowledge of k8s packages.

Skills (nice-to-have):

– Experience in designing and implementing a CI/CD pipeline using GitLab (e.g. for Building, Testing and Deploying a containerized (Docker) application),

– Experience implementing REST APIs in a microservices architecture,

– Practice in orchestrating containerized applications, preferably with Openshift 4 or Kubernetes,

– Sound knowledge of enterprise storage e.g. Object Storage S3 (MinIO),

– Sound knowledge with k8s Package Manager Helm,

– Knowledge of automating and managing Linux or Windows system administration tasks and software application versioning, ideally with git and git-flow,

– Know-how in general programming/scripting/infrastructure as a code (Python or Shell or YAML or Terraform) and in

Automation frameworks such as Ansible,

– Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus.
