Description
Support in operation, integration and further development of a procedure for efficient planning and control of projects or personnel projects based on MS Project Server, MS Dynamics, SAP and other systems.
LP-A: Inventory
– Analysis and evaluation of the development to date with regard to the implementation of the current concept and design of the architecture
– Review of current documentation of the architectures of the applications MS Dynamics, MS Project Server, SAP, and others, as well as their interfaces
LP-B: PMO services
– Planning: support in the development of a comprehensive project plan
– Resource management, risk management, reporting
– Communication: Supporting the coordination of communication between project participants, as well as ensuring a smooth flow of information
– Quality Assurance: Assistance in identifying opportunities for improvement and support in implementing quality measures.
– Support in the smooth roll-out of changes in the organization.
– Support in developing, modeling and implementing business processes.
LP-C: Creation of the business concept for the technical integration of all involved applications
– Conception of the connection of project planning with MS Dynamics by transferring relevant planning data into the project planning.
– Conception of a uniform project planning, an activity recording, a project reporting as well as a resource and capacity planning.
– Conception of the extension and adaptation of the MS Project plans, their input options for different user groups and the specific views.
– Design of interfaces for data exchange between systems – MS Dynamics, MS Project Server, SAP, Jira, TPG PSLink, TPG TeamManager, TPG TeamLink, TPG PortfolioManager (TPG CoReSuite), TPG ProjectLink.
– Design of workflows and procedures for using the process.
– Coordination of the functional concept with the departments involved.
LP-D: Planning and implementation services for the integration of the applications involved.
– Linking of project planning with MS Dynamics by transferring planning data from different entities into the project planning.
– Implementation of a unified project planning, activity recording, project reporting as well as resource and capacity planning.
– Implementation of interfaces for data exchange between the systems MS Dynamics, MS Project Server, SAP, Jira, etc. according to existing documentation in the tool Jira.
– Creation and evaluation of alternative solutions.
– Preparation of key figures on the status of the commissioned service and presentation.
LP-E: Planning and implementation service of the migration.
– Creation of a migration concept.
– Migration of data from the old process
– Planning and implementation of a successive extension of the user group.
LP-F: Operation and support services
– Provision of 3rd level support for questions regarding operational services that cannot be answered by 1st and 2nd level support.
– Technical evaluation of change requests to the scope of services.
– Conceptualization and execution of service and change requests.
Qualification Requirements:
1. knowledge in application development: MS Project Server 2016.
2. knowledge in SAP (application development), only relevant for PSLink Integration: SAP; Webservices
3. knowledge in business modules (module components, handling, service cut): MS Dynamics CRM (only relevant for PSLink Integration); MS Project Server 2016; MS Sharepoint 2016; MS SQL Server; MS Server; MS Office products; SAP (for PSLink Integration).
4. use of versioning systems: Git
5. development of RESTful services: REST API
6. use of Atlassian Suite: JIRA, Confluence optional
7. VBA development: development of Microsoft Project VBA modules
8. knowledge of IT architecture management in a complex IT infrastructure environment
9. knowledge of TPG software components: TPG PS Link; TPG CoReSuite; TPG ProjectLink.
Experience Requirements:
1. experience implementing an enterprise-wide planning and resource management approach in other organizations
2. experience in the development, implementation and operation of Microsoft Project servers
3. experience in VBA development for Microsoft Project
4. planning / conceptual design in relation to MS Project Server, SAP (for PSL integration) and their functional integration respectively their interface synchronization
5. requirements gathering for the described types of requirement
6. development of RESTful services: REST API
7. experience with implementation and integration of TPG components: TPG PS Link, TPG CoReSuite, TPG ProjectLink.
8. knowledge of IT architecture management in a complex IT infrastructure environment
