Vehicle IT develops applications and architectures for IT in Deutsche Bahn vehicles. The

Your services:

– Advising the client on the technical architecture of the IT systems in the subject area of vehicle IT, the

Service ICE Portal on the IT of the ICE and IC (virtualization, frontend, web server, content management system,

back-office technologies, networks, IT security, cloud and mobile edge computing devices in the train) as well as

their further development and operational issues

– Advising the customer on the further development of technical architecture strategy in the subject area as well as on the

implementation of the measures

– Identification of improvement opportunities for the existing technical architecture

– Execution and implementation of improvement possibilities

– Analyzing the business requirements for the IT systems as well as deriving and working out technical

implementation options

– Programming / implementation / configuration of technical components in applications based on the

technology of the train portal

– Documentation of technical components

– Creation of system documentation

– Creation of delivery packages for the applications in question

– Experience in running applications

– Setting up development environments incl. Continuous Integration

– Performing code reviews, unit tests, module tests, module group tests

– Preparing decision papers on technical issues

– Reporting risks and issues to technical architects and product owners

– Presentations on technically complex topics

– Effort estimation

Must-Requirements:

– Several years of professional experience in application development and deployment.

– Experience in design and implementation of mobile end user portals

– Web server technologies and Java (on and between cloud as well as edge computing)

– Content Management Systems

– Continous delivery, continuous integration, operation of applications

Target Requirements:

– Methodological competence, modeling, process models

– Software development JavaEE, Spring, Gradle (and/or Maven)

– Functional architecture and requirements management (technical understanding)

– Problem solving/work organization know-how
